Prepare invoices in accordance with the German Lawyers' Fees Act (RVG) or on an hourly billing basis
Review and correct cost statements
Monitor incoming and outgoing payments (e.g., on the client trust account)
Send payment reminders and dunning notices to clients
Calculate and monitor deadlines (according to the German Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO), RVG, etc.)
Review and prepare legal documents (e.g., powers of attorney, contracts, statements of claim), and correspondence with courts, clients, opposing parties, insurers, etc.
Document management: scanning, printing, sorting and digital filing
Requirements
Successfully completed vocational training and initial professional experience in a commercial or legal environment, or several years in a similar role
Relevant professional experience, ideally in a law firm
Good MS Office skills
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
A high degree of independence, initiative and reliability
