Generate high-quality sales leads, identify customer requirements, win new customers, and nurture existing client relationships to develop new opportunities within targeted markets
Build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with customers to achieve significant market share gains
Develop and execute a Sales Plan for the segment and territory, utilizing digital platforms, lapsed accounts, prospects, and portfolio history
Prepare and deliver quotes, technical presentations, attend marketing events, maintain necessary information on CLM, and provide timely reports (financial, sales planner, etc.)
Contribute to sales forecasts and cost/sales analysis
Ensure all monies are received within agreed payment terms for the customer base
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Technical Operations, Applications, Finance, and wider business teams to ensure the holistic quality of proposals and services delivered to customers
Requirements
Tertiary qualification in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred)
Relevant engineering and sales experience in the industrial services or rental business
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience in contract negotiation
Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Product knowledge, preferably in the generator or related technical products industry, and market awareness of the rental industry
Proven ability to achieve market share growth, meet revenue targets, and maintain customer satisfaction
