Role Overview
- Leading the credit management of a portfolio of CIB Middle East Corporates
- Assessment of total limit risk appetite within those groups
- New transaction proposals incorporating the analysis of the specific structure of a transaction, credit and financial risk profiles of the borrower
- Comprehension and analysis of financial statements, ratings, profitability, sector guidelines, projections and ESG related aspects
- Participation in credit and business committees
- Interaction with both internal/external audits, Internal Control and all different units linked to the admission and monitoring process
- Participation in internal programs/projects giving support to the different areas
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of credit risk underwriting experience within a corporate or commercial banking environment with Middle East companies (UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia)
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field
- Financial Institutions knowledge is also valuable
- Rating tools
- Local Regulatory knowledge
- Knowledge of the Middle East market
- Financial sponsors activity and structured & leverage Finance
- Data Analysis and Data Driven management
- Fluent in English
- Other languages are a plus
