Role Overview
- Support Research Operations from a financial point-of-view with accurate analyses and effective reporting
- Handle financial processes such as budgeting and forecasting
- Provide insightful financial advice
- Develop departmental budgets and analyze variances
- Prepare the Monthly Operating Report for executive management
- Interpret contract language and independently build financial models
- Complete financial analyses reflecting business health
- Design reports that communicate performance and contribute to management decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
- 3+ years' work experience in a similar role in the healthcare, clinical research, or pharmaceutical industries
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of financial concepts and accounting concepts
- Knowledge of business models related to health care research
- Knowledge of performance metrics for medical research
- Knowledge of statistical principles, calculations, and applications.
