About this role
Role Overview
Build, operate and continuously improve the Agentic AI Platform on Azure, including infrastructure, networking, access control, secrets and certificates
Deploy and operate Azure AI Foundry (model endpoints, AI services, workspaces) including the complete model lifecycle (rollout, versioning, testing, rollback)
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (primarily Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines for reproducible, auditable platform releases
Ensure observability (logging, metrics, tracing, performance, token usage, costs) and perform ongoing optimization, troubleshooting and upgrades
Implement security and governance (guardrails, policies, IAM, quotas, Responsible AI, auditability) including secure connectivity (private endpoints, VNETs, isolation)
Operate MCP infrastructure and manage FinOps (consumption, budgets, cost optimization), capacity and quota management, and consistent platform operations across the group
Requirements
Must have Azure platform engineering experience (networking, subscriptions, landing zones, security)
Experience with Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI / Azure AI Services or comparable AI platforms in production
Infrastructure-as-Code expertise (preferably Terraform) with reproducible deployments
Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
Solid knowledge of IAM, Azure RBAC, managed identities, Entra ID and secret management and secure configuration
Strong skills in observability and AI governance (access control, quotas, Responsible AI, auditability)
Excellent German and English skills
