Support the National Programs Intelligence Systems & Application Operating Unit.
Oversee and manage both virtual and physical servers for enterprise, regional, and local systems.
Install, configure, document, maintain, and support server environments hosting mission-critical applications and infrastructure services.
Provide minor Windows system administration support as needed.
Perform Operations and Maintenance tasks, maintain operational baselines, and support application O&M activities, including patching, application monitoring, and customer support.
Monitor and optimize system performance, including CPU, memory, disk usage, and response times.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving system and database issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, hardware, software, and processes.
Train and mentor staff on server and database management best practices.
Requirements
BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Masters degree with 3+ years of experience.
Proven experience in system administration, specifically with Linux, including RHEL and Ubuntu, and UNIX in classified environments.
Some Windows server administration experience would be good to have.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Database installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience managing both virtual and physical servers.
