Writing sharp summaries of key news articles and political developments to a high standard for Hanbury’s clients and internal teams.
Being a key member of Hanbury’s Media Monitoring Unit and becoming skilled at using monitoring tools such as Meltwater.
Requirements
Have a genuine interest in public relations, communications and politics.
Be a news junky!
Be a proactive ‘self-starter’: someone who takes the initiative to volunteer for tasks, is energetic in making the most of the opportunity, and offers ideas at meetings.
Want to learn new things.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be organised and have good time management: you can juggle different activities, understanding what needs to be prioritised, and will flag if deadlines won’t be met.
