Assists in detailed design of substation and conventional generation, as needed
Produces physical substation packages including general arrangements, elevations, bill of materials, conduit, grounding, lightning protection, and illumination
Selects hardware for appropriate applications
Works effectively as part of a team or independently with oversight
Maintains high ethical and professional standards within the overall organization
Attends conferences, training workshops, seminars, and classes as appropriate for professional advancement and to maintain quality of work
Attends safety training and follows safety rules and guidelines
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Associates degree in related field preferred
1 – 3 years of drafting, design, engineering, or related experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office required
A strong command of the English language
Possesses effective written and oral communications skills
Good interpersonal and people skills
