Role Overview
- Manage and support OpenShift clusters in production environments.
- Troubleshoot platform, application, networking, and storage-related issues.
- Perform cluster upgrades, patching, and health checks.
- Handle critical incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Work with infrastructure, application, and security teams to resolve issues.
- Implement best practices for platform stability and performance.
- Create operational documentation and troubleshooting runbooks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift cluster operations and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing production OpenShift environments.
- Expertise in diagnosing and resolving cluster, node, pod, networking, and storage issues.
- Experience with OpenShift upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and components.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, certificates, and security in OpenShift.
- Experience with storage solutions such as ODF, Ceph, NFS, or SAN.
- Experience collecting and analyzing logs, must-gather, and performing RCA.
