Manage scientific team responsible for delivery of a full range of strategic publication focus
Under the guidance of the scientific VP, lead and manage account to ensure the creation of high quality, accurate medical / scientific content with ability to expand management responsibilities as team grows
Develop and grow commercial work partnering with VPs of scientific and client services and managing directors
Identify and develop strategic and tactical business recommendations relevant to client strategy and marketplace needs
Develop / lead / facilitate key strategy workshops
Demonstrate a high level of comfort articulating scientific and therapeutic information in lung cancer
Foster innovation and collaboration across Nucleus to position agency as leader in publication work
Requirements
PhD, PharmD, MD with 10+ years of experience of relevant medical communications experience, with an in-depth understanding of publication oncology work
Track record of successful scientific leadership across several clients/therapeutic categories
US launch experience required; Global experience is a plus
Some travel will be required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing staff / direct reports (potentially based across multiple locations)
