Compute charges, prepaid expenses, and preliminary tax entries
Prepare cheques, e-transfers, and EFT payments
Reconcile records of bank transactions
Perform data entry and analysis
Prepare month-end reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, analysis, and discrepancy report
Maintain records of accounts receivable and payable, as well as ledgers and journals
Assist with payroll calculations
Submit Payroll Taxes
Submit GST installments to the CRA
Remit and file T4 slips
Analyze and record business transactions and period-end adjustments
Prepare basic financial statements
Compute and record depreciation for bookkeeping and tax purposes
Cost out (calculate cost of) and record inventory
Implement internal controls to protect company assets
Perform other bookkeeping duties

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
3-5 years of Bookkeeping experience
Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills
Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours
Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online
Strong working knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.
Experience working with the Canada Revenue Agency
