About this role
Role Overview
Spearhead culture-driven integrated communications programs that extend beyond media relations
Create and secure compelling storytelling opportunities across earned media and owned social channels
Support complex experiential moments
Serve as a strategic counsel to clients and as a leader of a talented communications team
Develop strong integrated communications strategies that build brand awareness and achieve key business objectives
Build effective and creative earned programming that breaks through in today's cluttered media landscape
Maintain current knowledge of trends, the competitive landscape, and confidently provide strategic point-of-views to the client
Develop creative, award-winning campaign ideas informed by insights and rooted in culture
Manage account teams in the development and execution of complex integrated campaigns that support our clients’ objectives and launches
Carry out brand-related events, coordinate product collaborations/launches, and secure effective partnerships
Ensure alignment of public relations, talent, content and influencer strategies with the clients’ overarching objectives
Provide mentorship and leadership to agency teams
Participate in new business pitch development and/or presentations
Serve on the leadership team, drive office culture and be a mentor to staff
Requirements
10+ years of experience in communications
Deep understanding of and appreciation for the premium lifestyle space, both brands and media
Experience balancing business and brand considerations in both high level concept and day-to-day execution
In depth understanding of the future of earned media, new media, social media and the digital landscape
Proven track record of practical and successful application of ideas
Integrated communications and PR agency experience; brand partnerships and large-scale activation experience preferred
Experience in leading and mentoring a diverse team, exemplifying excellent judgment and people skills
Understanding of brand partnerships and experience in working with creative teams to build effective strategies and campaigns
Creative storytelling skills coupled with a deep understanding on how to package a modern earned story, understand the importance of visual elements
Deep understanding of developing media strategies and strong media relationships across luxury, lifestyle and travel
Excellent communication and writing skills
A proven track record for developing and executing programs that have driven tangible results
Entrepreneurial spirit, willing to do what is needed to the job done
Experience managing multiple priorities and pivoting quickly
Relentless curiosity is a must -

Proficiency in generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, MidJourney, Runway, DALL·E, or similar platforms
Demonstrated ability to use AI in developing innovative advertising concepts, content creation, and campaign strategies
