Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly.
Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations.
Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures.
Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times.
Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the most safe and secure work environment possible.

Participate in the development and maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace.
Undertake all mandatory WHS training as required.
Co-operate with management in its fulfilment of its OH&S legislative obligations.
Take reasonable care to ensure your own health and safety and the safety of others.
To report any injury, hazard, or illness as soon as possible.
Ensure all workers including contractors participate in approved OH&S training programs.
Encourage positive attitudes towards OH&S.
Ensure the hazard identification & risk management process is utilized effectively to manage OH&S risks.
Apply OH&S policy and procedures to always ensure compliance with INTERNATIONALSOS and regulatory requirements for OH&S.
Actively participate in OWH&S inspections and audits including corrective actions.
Include OWH&S performance in worker performance appraisals.
Ensure all hazards and incidents are reported and investigated appropriately and suitable controls are implemented.
Ensure that workers are equipped with the information, instruction, training, and supervision that they need to work safely.
Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained.
Maintain relevant knowledge of OH&S issues.
Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviors.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited EMT program
Previous EMT experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience
Occupational medicine experience (preferred)
EMT State Certification and/or National Registry
Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
BLS.
