About this role
Role Overview
- Drive the development of our insurance products in the P&C area (SHU) together with your colleagues
- Manage existing insurance products and further develop them
- Negotiate with risk carriers and insurers regarding new and existing product concepts
- Handle project management for our product and concept development
- Serve as the technical point of contact for internal teams, risk carriers, insurers and distribution partners
- Apply your insurance expertise in a digital environment and help implement products in a simple, efficient and distribution-channel-specific way
- Be willing to occasionally support risk carriers on-site or represent them at trade shows
Requirements
- Professional training in the insurance sector (e.g., insurance and financial services clerk)
- Further qualification as an insurance specialist (Versicherungsfachwirt), a business/economics background or comparable experience
- Experience in product development, product management or a product-related role in the insurance sector
- Knowledge of the P&C area; experience in SHU — i.e., property, liability and accident
- Good understanding of insurance products, product logic, economic interrelationships and ideally product concepts
- Strong numeracy and the ability to reconcile technical, commercial and sales requirements
- Excellent German skills, at least at C1 level
