Medical Group Clerical Specialist

Role Overview

• Coordinates the encounter or appointment closure process for customers/patients
• Advanced scheduling and co-pay collection
• Financial arrangements and coordination of services
• Preparation of claims or accounts for billing
• Handle customer inquiries and support resolution of issues

Requirements

• High school (G.E.D.) required
• Eighteen months experience in healthcare with scheduling, registration, and MD interaction
• Physician office experience preferred
• Ability to pass all EPIC competencies within 90 days of hire
