Role Overview
- Design and test mechanical systems for food equipment machinery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define customer needs and develop new features
- Ensure designs meet specifications and are aligned with customer requirements
- Work on CAD layouts, DFMEA, cost estimations, and solving mechanical field problems
- Build maintenance and mechanical design of machinery including layouts, assemblies, and components
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Technology or comparable work experience
- 5+ years of experience in automatic, industrial food processing equipment or similar fields in product development
- Experience with or knowledge of 3D design tools
- Proficiency in CAD systems such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, or similar
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through hands-on experience in design, testing, or troubleshooting
- Familiarity with lifecycle management of design data, including CAD models, drawings, and ECNs
