Serve as an experienced individual contributor responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the cloud infrastructure behind a large federal enterprise cloud platform
Help meet scope, schedule, and delivery requirements while keeping the platform secure, stable, and performant around the clock
Operating, maintaining, and hardening cloud infrastructure (AWS) and supporting systems across multiple environments
Performing patching, upgrades, configuration management, and standardized baseline maintenance
Supporting Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) infrastructure and core platform services
Troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure, networking, and performance issues
Automating infrastructure operations and configuration through infrastructure as code (Terraform)
Supporting platform security and compliance, including ATO sustainment and audit readiness
Self-directed design of cloud infrastructure and tradeoffs between cost, reliability, and efficiency
Building reusable modules and mentoring engineers
Participating in technical depth interviews with new candidates

Bachelor's and 7+ years of experience; relevant experience may be substituted for education
Expert-level experience operating and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
Expert-level knowledge of at least one infrastructure-as-code tool (Terraform preferred)
Deep command of systems administration, networking, containerization, and core DevOps concepts
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust / suitability determination
