About this role
Role Overview
- Act as a Release Captain for mobile app releases
- Plan, schedule, and manage mobile app releases across multiple environments (iOS, Android)
- Manage releases in App Store and Google Play
- Ensure all release readiness criteria are met
- Coordinate cross-team release activities
- Monitor post-release performance and coordinate hotfixes if needed
- Continuously improve release processes, tooling, and automation practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Release Manager or similar role in software development
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and release processes
- Strong understanding of Git-based version control systems and branching strategies
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLab, SonarQube)
- Fluent in English in spoken and written communication
