About this role

Advise CMA CGM Group entities on competition law issues (mainly antitrust law and merger control)
Analyze the notifiability of contemplated M&A transactions
Manage the preparation and follow-up of merger notifications to competition authorities
Ensure the legal validity of operational partnerships according to local regulations
Provide technical support in the Group's merger operations
Monitor pre-litigation and litigation procedures and coordinate responses to requests from competition authorities
Participate in developing internal procedures for compliance and training actions
Involvement in contract reviews and regulatory matters
Ensure legal and regulatory monitoring on competition and sectoral issues

Hold a Master 2 in Law
Have a first experience in competition law
Proficient in both English and French, spoken and written
Advanced proficiency in IT and digital tools
Experience related to transport, logistics chain management, or media and press sectors is a significant advantage
Previous experience in law firms or competition authorities will also be valued
Excellent communication skills, particularly in simplifying competition law topics
Ability to respond effectively under tight deadlines to complex requests
Rigor, responsiveness, adaptability, analytical and synthesis skills
