About this role
Role Overview
New business is the heart of this role.
Building our commercial foundation is where you can add extra value as you settle in, and where there's real room to leave your mark.
Proactively identify and acquire new customers across our target markets.
Connect with key decision-makers (IT leads, security and compliance owners, and management) and build successful business relationships.
Present, promote, and sell Sendent's solutions to meet and exceed sales targets.
Run deals end-to-end: qualification, demo coordination, quoting, negotiation, and close.
Negotiate quotes and contract terms that work for both the customer and Sendent.
Represent Sendent at Nextcloud and industry events across Europe (and occasionally beyond), working the booth, meeting prospects, and generating new business on the floor.
Keep the pipeline and customer data accurate and up to date in the CRM.
Forecast and track key sales metrics, and communicate progress clearly and transparently.
Work with the founders and (over time) marketing on outreach, lead generation, and go-to-market.
Help shape and document our sales process and tooling as the function grows, turning what works into something repeatable.
Requirements
A track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets, particularly in winning new customers, with proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or new-business account management.
Self-directed and hands-on: you don't wait to be told where the next opportunity is.
Confident communicating, presenting, and influencing at all levels, including IT decision-makers and management.
Excited to travel: you're happy to be on the road regularly for events and prospect meetings across Europe (travel is a required and recurring part of the role).
Working-level English proficiency (preferably C1/C2), plus at least one other major market language (Dutch, French, German, or Spanish) at the same level.
Technical affinity for software; able to hold a credible conversation about integrations, security, and data control, or a quick study who's willing to learn our market fast.
Comfortable in a fast-growing, dynamic, international team where things move quickly and no two days are the same.
Benefits
€4,050 to €4,850 gross monthly salary (40h/week, depending on experience), with on-target earnings (OTE) of €62,000 to €75,000 per year.
Your bonus is paid quarterly, with an accelerator that kicks in once you pass 110% of target, so over-performance pays off.
Hybrid setup, with an in-office day once a week, in an office right across from Eindhoven Central station, with strong autonomy and real ownership.
Self-directed mobility budget, you choose your own mode of transport.
All-expenses-paid travel to Nextcloud and industry events across Europe and beyond.
25 vacation days + public holidays + 8% holiday pay.
Company laptop of your choice, plus a company phone.
Home-office budget, work-from-home allowance and internet allowance.
A team that values quality, learning, and long-term thinking.
