You advise the executive management and the team on all legal matters, with a focus on contract law, corporate law, employment law, data protection, IP, media law, platform regulation and compliance.
You draft, review and negotiate contracts with partners, sponsors, service providers, talent, agencies, publishers, event organizers and other stakeholders.
You support strategic projects, financing rounds, partnerships, product development, international expansions and potential M&A processes from a legal perspective.
You develop scalable legal processes, contract templates and standards, internal policies, compliance structures and decision frameworks for a fast-growing startup.
You manage external law firms and coordinate collaboration with authorities, advisors and other external partners.
You advise on legal issues related to gaming, esports, digital communities, youth protection, content, trademark rights, community governance and inclusive platform offerings.
Requirements
You are a fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist) with two state examinations or hold an equivalent legal qualification.
You have several years of professional experience in a commercial law firm or in-house at a company, startup or within a technology, media, gaming or esports environment.
You have solid knowledge of contract law and ideally experience in several of the following areas: corporate law, employment law, data protection, IP, media law, compliance or digital business models.
You think entrepreneurially, are pragmatic and solution-oriented, while not underestimating legal risks.
You can explain complex legal issues clearly and provide concise recommendations for action.
You work independently, in a structured manner and take responsibility in a dynamic environment.
You have an interest in gaming, esports, digital platforms, community products and inclusive organizational structures.
You have very good German and English language skills.
