About this role
Role Overview
Lead the design of architectures for new products, digital platforms and modernization of legacy systems.
Translate business needs into scalable, secure, resilient and sustainable technical solutions.
Model systems and architectures using the C4 model, covering context, containers, components and, when necessary, code-level details.
Define architectural standards for microservices, integrations, APIs, messaging and inter-system communication.
Design cloud-native solutions with consideration for high availability, elasticity, security, observability and cost optimization.
Support the evolution of distributed, event-driven and reactive-system architectures.
Act as a bridge between business areas, Product and development teams, ensuring alignment between strategy, architecture and implementation.
Guide engineering teams in adopting technical best practices and architectural patterns.
Support decisions related to technologies, frameworks, platforms, integrations and cloud services.
Assess technical impacts, risks, dependencies, trade-offs and improvement opportunities.
Participate in technical discussions, refinements, solution discovery and initiative planning.
Support governance of APIs, integrations, microservices and security patterns.
Contribute to strategies for observability, monitoring, logging, metrics and distributed tracing.
Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with business objectives and the organization’s technical standards.
Define architectures that are scalable, resilient, secure and prepared for future evolution.
Technically lead architecture initiatives from conception through implementation follow-up.
Promote best practices for distributed architecture, microservices, integration, security and cloud-native development.
Establish guidelines for the use of APIs, messaging, events, observability and cloud platforms.
Support legacy system modernization by proposing evolutionary and sustainable strategies.
Ensure clarity in communicating architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Serve as a technical reference for backend development, infrastructure, security and product teams.
Evaluate and document technical trade-offs, considering timelines, cost, complexity, risk and business value.
Contribute to the standardization and evolution of enterprise architecture.
Disseminate technical knowledge, best practices and architectural patterns across teams.
Support the identification and mitigation of technical risks, bottlenecks, architectural debt and scalability issues.
