implementing and managing GitLab for version control, code collaboration, and CI/CD processes across the analytics team
defining and operationalizing team standards for source control, code reviews, deployment workflows, and documentation
building, optimizing, and owning Power BI datasets, semantic models, and reporting layers
partnering with clinical, operational, and business stakeholders to translate data needs into technical solutions and communicate insights effectively
mentoring and training team members on data engineering workflows, Snowflake, dbt, GitLab, and Power BI
continuously improving platform architecture, tooling, and processes to support a scalable, maintainable, and modern analytics ecosystem
expanding Snowflake capabilities to enable advanced analytics and operational use cases
contributing to advanced analytical initiatives, including identifying cost-savings opportunities and generating insights from complex healthcare datasets
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
Requires 4 – 6 years of related experience
3+ years of experience with SQL and Python
Experience working with modern data platforms and tools specifically with Snowflake, dbt, GitLab, Power BI
Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data models
Familiarity with medallion architecture
Experience working with healthcare data (e.g., claims, provider, pharmacy datasets)
Snowflake Certifications (Core, Specialty [e.g., Snowpark], or Advanced [e.g., Data Engineer, Data Analyst]) (nice to have)
GitLab Certifications (e.g., Fundamentals, CI/CD Associate) (nice to have)
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (nice to have)
