Senior Analytics Engineer

Role Overview

• designing, building, and scaling a modern analytics engineering framework
• efficient ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data to support advanced analytics and strategic decision-making
• developing automated, production-ready data pipelines and analytics assets
• partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive measurable business impact and establish scalable, team-based data practices
• building scalable data pipelines that ingest external and internal data into Snowflake
• maintaining dbt transformation workflows to produce curated, production-ready data models and tables
• enforcing best practices for data modeling, performance optimization, data quality, and pipeline reliability
• developing and maintaining Python
• and SQL-based processes for data ingestion, validation, transformation, and monitoring
• implementing and managing GitLab for version control, code collaboration, and CI/CD processes across the analytics team
• defining and operationalizing team standards for source control, code reviews, deployment workflows, and documentation
• building, optimizing, and owning Power BI datasets, semantic models, and reporting layers
• partnering with clinical, operational, and business stakeholders to translate data needs into technical solutions and communicate insights effectively
• mentoring and training team members on data engineering workflows, Snowflake, dbt, GitLab, and Power BI
• continuously improving platform architecture, tooling, and processes to support a scalable, maintainable, and modern analytics ecosystem
• expanding Snowflake capabilities to enable advanced analytics and operational use cases
• contributing to advanced analytical initiatives, including identifying cost-savings opportunities and generating insights from complex healthcare datasets

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
• Requires 4 – 6 years of related experience
• 3+ years of experience with SQL and Python
• Experience working with modern data platforms and tools specifically with Snowflake, dbt, GitLab, Power BI
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data models
• Familiarity with medallion architecture
• Experience working with healthcare data (e.g., claims, provider, pharmacy datasets)
• Snowflake Certifications (Core, Specialty [e.g., Snowpark], or Advanced [e.g., Data Engineer, Data Analyst]) (nice to have)
• GitLab Certifications (e.g., Fundamentals, CI/CD Associate) (nice to have)
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (nice to have)
