Role Overview
- Build and ship production-grade platforms with reusable foundations, tools, infrastructure, and workflows
- Lead client-level platform engineering work, demonstrating technical expertise
- Advise clients on architecture, scalability, and platform evolution
- Collaborate on systems involving the full ML lifecycle
- Contribute to team health and 8th Light's culture through mentorship and training
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and consulting
- Expertise in building production-grade platforms and high-quality software
- Proficiency across various languages and frameworks, including Java, C#/.NET, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Go, Ruby, Scala, R, and SQL
- Experience with AI and agentic systems from prototype to production
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, authentication, and observability
