Lead and manage the full proposal lifecycle for federal government opportunities from solicitation release through final submission.
Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Develop proposal schedules, compliance matrices, outlines, and win themes.
Coordinate proposal activities with capture managers, business development, technical teams, subcontractors, and subject matter experts.
Write, edit, and review proposal content to ensure accuracy, clarity, compliance, and consistency.
Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to gather technical information and translate complex concepts into compelling proposal responses.
Manage multiple proposals simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines.
Ensure all proposal deliverables comply with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements and company quality standards.
Maintain proposal documentation, templates, lessons learned, and proposal libraries.
Support color team reviews and incorporate reviewer feedback into final proposal submissions.
Collaborate with leadership to develop proposal strategies that increase win probability.
Assist with continuous process improvement initiatives for proposal development and management.
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one is required.
Must reside within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting federal government contracting
