Conduct thorough quality control inspections of computer and server components, sub-assemblies, and finished products in alignment with Supermicro's rigorous standards and specifications.
Identify, document, and report non-conformities, defects, or deviations from quality standards, ensuring clear communication to relevant production and engineering teams.
Perform root cause analysis for identified quality issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain accurate and detailed quality records, inspection logs, and test data, ensuring traceability and compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook and other applicable documentation.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of quality processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and overall product reliability.
Collaborate effectively with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless quality integration throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
Hold a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronic Engineering, or any related Technical or Engineering field.
Candidates with relevant technical certifications will also be considered.
Ideally candidate possess a minimum of 2 years of dedicated quality control experience within the computer, server, or related high-tech manufacturing industry, preferably with exposure to Supermicro products or similar enterprise hardware.
Demonstrate strong independence, meticulous diligence, proactive initiative, and a consistently positive attitude in a fast-paced production environment.
Exhibit excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills, fostering a collaborative approach to quality assurance.
Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong reading comprehension skills, particularly for technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Capable of performing duties that require prolonged standing and physical presence on the production line for inspection activities.
Flexible and able to comply with overtime requirements as dictated by production schedules and business needs.
Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and tools, such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), or similar methodologies, is highly advantageous.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, quality systems, 5S, SPC, or QA documentation will be an added advantage.
