Role Overview
- Managing all HIPAA incidents, privacy complaints, and reports of suspected inappropriate access to clinical applications.
- Conducting thorough investigations including data gathering, analysis, interviews, and report writing.
- Managing privacy monitoring program and ensuring timely assessment of incidents.
- Serving as an expert on HIPAA regulations and advising workforce members on compliance.
- Conducting on-site privacy monitoring and desk audits for compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
- No specific certification/professional license is required for this position.
- No specific work experience is required for this position.
- Skills: Audit Management, Clinical Care, Conducting Investigations, Electronic Health Records (EHR).
