About this role
Role Overview
Take technical inquiries from various inputs and provide accurate technical responses
Maintain a database to accurately log the nature and source of inquiries
Convert technical inquiries into sales leads where applicable
Own every aspect of the required support in this segment
Understand field requirements, refrigerant options, and retrofit procedures for various manufacturers offerings
Handle SFDC inquiries and phone calls
Back up aftermarket sales
Handle quality complaints
Present Solstice options to industry trade shows
Support retrofits
Support field trials
Perform site surveys, compose reports, and testimonials
Support technical literature creation
Support new product introductions
Provide assistance to R&D and relay field practices
Own cylinder fleet information and maintain customer facing cylinder manuals
Requirements
Knowledge of refrigerant properties, chiller operations and design
Associate's degree in engineering discipline
Minimum of 10 years of technical support or field support experience
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present to industry groups
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Ability to visit commercial and industrial sites
