Public Relations Specialist – Litigation

Role Overview

• Helping to direct the litigation media strategy
• Supporting day-to-day media relations relating to litigation
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key journalists
• Providing counsel to lawyers on messaging and interview preparation
• Collaborating with business development to highlight significant litigation victories
• Drafting press releases and other external announcements

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in public relations (law or professional services firm background preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Exceptional written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proactive approach with the ability to initiate and manage projects
• Strong press contacts.
