Role Overview
Overseeing all field activities for large or multiple smaller projects
Managing the coordination of subcontractors and sequencing of work activities
Maintaining the project schedule and quality control
Enforcing project safety rules
Reviewing construction documents for constructability and phasing options
Developing project-specific safety programs
Coordinating logistics, traffic patterns, and equipment locations
Planning timely initiation and completion of trade contract work
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
Minimum ten (10) years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role as a Foreman or Superintendent
Successful completion of classes or other training in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication
Advanced understanding of construction scheduling
Cost control experience
Basic computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Word, Procore, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Microsoft Project
