Handle all administrative tasks for new hires, including I-9 completion (including e-Verify); enrollment in benefits; and 401k setup.
Handle all administrative offboarding activities, including exit interviews over Teams or in person, processing terminations in HCM, sending offboarding information (including NDA information), and moving personnel files to terminated status.
Manages all benefit processes, including both new hire and annual enrollment process.
Processes benefit changes, such as qualifying events, terminations, etc.
Ensures retroactive benefit changes are updated to payroll on a timely basis for correct payroll processing.
Leads open enrollment informational and/or help sessions.
Provide support to employees for leaves of absence, including all compliance-related communications and documentation.
Partner with the HR team on value-added strategic priorities such as employee culture initiatives, employee engagement surveys, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and more.
Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook, and contribute to policy development.
Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, and provide guidance and interpretation for business operations.
Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements.
Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of the HR department and company.
Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary.

Requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field
Proven success working in an HR department with 3-5 years of experience
Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail
