Children Youth and Families Caseworker

Role Overview

• Provide protective and supportive services to abused/neglected children and families
• Participate in Conferencing and Teaming to help families with safety and self-sufficiency goals
• Present case facts and testimony in Children’s Court
• Work with families from referral to closure of case.

Requirements

• Entry-level experience in casework or related fields
• Knowledge of policies and procedures regarding child welfare
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities
• Must be able to work in a diverse environment.
