Responsible for supporting regulatory compliance activities to ensure the organization operates within applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
Professionally, respectfully and effectively communicate compliance topics across all levels of the organization.
Monitors the compliance inbox and provides timely responses to a variety of questions and support needs across the organization.
Complete facility licensing, credentialing and re-credentialing.
Conduct research on state and federal regulations and policies.
Provide support in drafting, maintaining and reviewing policies, procedures and forms.
Provide support for internal and external compliance audits.
Create and update compliance trainings.
Support the compliance department with various projects and initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma, completion of G.E.D. required
No experience required
Demonstrated experience working in a community-based behavioral health setting, providing direct support or services to individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges
experience preferred in compliance, technical writing, or other related field
