Own and grow a portfolio of mid-value customers, acting as a trusted advisor to drive measurable outcomes
Combine relationship management, data insight, and commercial acumen to deliver exceptional client experiences while identifying opportunities for growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across your customer portfolio (approx. 30–60 accounts)
Develop and execute tailored client success plans aligned to each organisation’s goals
Identify, position, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Zenergi’s products and services
Act as a strategic advisor, helping clients optimise energy usage, cost efficiency, and sustainability outcomes
Own renewal strategy and delivery, ensuring high retention and long-term contract value
Collaborate with internal teams on pricing, proposals, and contract negotiations
Deliver compelling presentations and business cases that demonstrate ROI and value
Conduct regular customer reviews, satisfaction audits, and risk assessments
Proactively identify and resolve risks to retention or satisfaction
Act as the voice of the customer, feeding insights into Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams
Analyse customer data (e.g. energy usage, market trends) to identify optimisation opportunities
Track and report on KPIs including retention, revenue growth, and customer success metrics
Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to clients
Stay up to date with Zenergi’s evolving product suite and the wider energy landscape
Educate clients on new innovations, regulatory changes, and sustainability opportunities
Position yourself as a knowledgeable ambassador for both Zenergi and the industry
Requirements
Proven experience in a Customer Success, Account Management, or Sales role with revenue responsibility
Strong commercial mindset with a track record of retention and growth against targets
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised, accountable, and results-driven
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
Passion for delivering tangible value and exceptional client outcomes.
Experience within the energy, utilities, or sustainability sector (Desirable)
Understanding of Third-Party Intermediary (TPI) models and industry regulations (Desirable)
Strong analytical skills and experience using CRM and reporting tools (Desirable)
Proven work experience as a Customer Success Manager or similar role in a similar industry with a demonstratable track record of renewing and cross-selling against targets (Desirable)
