Experienced Customer Solution Consultant/Manager for Software Consulting and Development

Role Overview

• Understand, identify and structure customer problems.
• You analyze clients’ business processes, pain points and objectives and translate them into clearly defined, actionable problem statements.
• You do not stop at analysis but actively ensure these become practical approaches.
• End-to-end responsibility for solutions.
• You accompany a topic from idea through conception, architecture and proposal to implementation and further development.
• You identify appropriate solutions for companies and can proactively approach potential clients.
• You also recognize which new topics or sensible next steps arise from projects and client interactions, and drive these forward independently.
• Solution design & architecture.
• You design solution concepts for software, cloud, integration and AI use cases together with engineering and clients — pragmatic, scalable and implementable.
• Product & project management.
• You prioritize topics, prepare proposals and decision papers, and prepare and take responsibility for client-side and internal decisions.
• You take action even when requirements are unclear, opinions differ or there is not yet an obvious "right" answer.
• Client leadership & communication.
• You work closely with clients, moderate workshops, explain decisions and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Active team contribution.
• You do more than coordinate — you are part of the project and product team and take responsibility where it is needed.
• AI is not an add-on — it is standard.
• You naturally use AI in analysis, conception, communication and implementation.
• You recognize where AI provides real added value — and where it does not. You understand AI as an amplifier of your own capabilities and as an opportunity for better solutions.

Requirements

• Solid background with experience as a Product Manager, Solution Architect, IT Consultant or in a comparable role.
• Strong functional understanding of software development, cloud architectures and modern system landscapes (detailed expertise not required).
• Ability to think holistically from problem → solution → implementation.
• Confident communication with clients, developers and stakeholders.
• Skill in preparing complex technical and business matters so they are easily understood by different audiences, especially management and clients.
• Structured, decisive working style and a strong ownership mentality.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn and a positive attitude toward change.
• Active use of AI tools in daily work.
• Very good German and English language skills.
• Willingness to travel: occasional business trips within the DACH region (as agreed with the client).
