Support the commercial estimating process by preparing accurate quantity takeoffs.
Perform back-end pricing by sourcing materials and project components from suppliers.
Contact suppliers to obtain current pricing, product availability, and quotations.
Review project plans to identify required materials, labor, and quantities for estimates.
Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating a material and cost database.
Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure bids are accurate and submitted on time.
Maintain organized estimating records and support continuous improvement of estimating processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Landscape Construction, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in construction or landscaping estimating, quantity takeoffs, or a similar estimating role.
Proficiency in quantity takeoff software; experience with Togal is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of construction or landscaping plans, materials, estimating principles, and pricing processes.
Experience sourcing material pricing and communicating with suppliers and vendors.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple estimates and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with the estimating team.
