Role Overview
- Analyze and optimize AWS cloud costs across multi-account environments
- Identify savings opportunities through rightsizing, Reserved Instances (RI), and Savings Plans
- Monitor cloud spending using AWS Cost Anomaly Detection
- Develop and maintain cost allocation and tagging strategies
- Generate insights using AWS Cost & Usage Reports (CUR)
- Utilize AWS Trusted Advisor and Cost Optimization Hub to improve cloud efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering and finance teams on cloud cost optimization initiatives
- Support governance across AWS Organizations
Requirements
- 3+ years of AWS Cloud Operations or FinOps experience
- Hands-on experience with: AWS Cost Optimization & Rightsizing
- Reserved Instances (RI) & Savings Plans
- Cost Allocation & Tagging
- AWS Cost Anomaly Detection
- AWS Trusted Advisor / Cost Optimization Hub
- AWS Cost & Usage Reports (CUR)
- AWS Organizations (Multi-Account Environments)
