Technician – Manual Operation 2

Role Overview

• Ensure customer satisfaction through preventive maintenance tasks
• Ensure support to technicians for vehicle maintenance or repair
• Guarantee the correct stamping of the work being performed
• Ensure process flow by communicating that the work has been finished
• Achieve the implementation of improvement proposals
• Check availability of tools and parts to be used, retrieve them from the warehouse
• Check availability of maintenance information
• Ensure application of work methods
• Perform visual inspections of the vehicle
• Manage any deviations that arise
• Wash parts and components
• Start the work order
• Prepare the vehicle or component
• Search for information in the system
• Perform maintenance
• Finalize stamping
• Clean the work area and return used tools
• Finalize work order
• Communicate to the workshop manager that the assignment is finished
• Communicate deviations
• Propose solutions
• Follow up on established improvement plans

Requirements

• High school, preparatory or technical degree completed
• One year in a similar position
• Diesel and/or gasoline mechanics
• Knowledge of Scania products and services
• Knowledge of DOS, DCS, SRS, SHE standards
