Senior Backend Developer, Node/Python

Role Overview

• Develop and evolve backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and event-driven architectures.
• Build integrations with Artificial Intelligence providers and platform services, ensuring scalability, observability, and security.
• Design and evolve data models and analytical pipelines in PostgreSQL.
• Participate in architecture definition, technical reviews, and the evolution of the platform's engineering standards.
• Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD processes and operations in Kubernetes and multi-cloud environments.
• Use AI agents and tools to accelerate the software development lifecycle, from technical definition to implementation and testing.
• Collaborate with product, platform, and engineering teams to build innovative and scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of Python and FastAPI.
• Experience building REST APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with messaging using Kafka, BullMQ, or similar technologies.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with observability and monitoring of distributed applications.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant architectures.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar to improve productivity and quality in software development.
• Technical proficiency in English for reading documentation and collaborating with global teams.
