Claims Manager – Property Insurance

Role Overview

• Claims management: You oversee property/building claims from notification through to settlement. You coordinate with insurers, surveyors/assessors and contractors to ensure fast, clean resolution.
• Policy management: You take care of the building insurance policies in our portfolios and identify coverage gaps, double insurance and optimization opportunities.
• AI-powered work: You use AI-supported processes to enrich data, compare policies and handle claims more efficiently.

Requirements

• Property insurance expertise: You are familiar with lines, coverages and claims processes in residential building and condominium (WEG) insurance.
• Ideally trained as an insurance clerk, an Insurance Specialist (Versicherungsfachwirt) or you hold a comparable qualification.
• Track record: You have experience in claims handling, broker operations or the insurance industry. Experience in real estate or PropTech is a plus.
• Communication pro: You speak and write business-fluent German (minimum C1) and communicate convincingly over the phone and in writing.
• Data mindset: You work in a structured way and love KPIs. Claim ratios and processing times are your compass for optimization.
• Tech affinity: You are excited to work with state-of-the-art tooling (CRM, administration software, data enrichment).
