About this role

Provide leadership and manage your team to achieve key business objectives
Coordinate the unit's workflow, participate in day-to-day operations, and report on activities
Plan unit activities to ensure optimal service levels
Maintain effective communication channels with other departments
Liaise with other claims specialists and senior management on technical and administrative matters
Ensure company policies, standards, and procedures are followed
Facilitate continuous learning and development
Conduct ongoing monthly productivity and quality audits and provide feedback as part of training sessions
Identify and recommend policy and process changes to improve business outcomes and maintain competitiveness
Participate in expense management and recruitment

University or college degree preferred, or equivalent business experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry
At least 2 years of management experience or equivalent work experience
Experience managing property/home claims is an asset
Strong technical knowledge of claims
Leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and coach employees to achieve results
Bilingual (French and English)
Regular interaction with colleagues across the country required
