Directs and coordinates the activities of the adjusters related to the processing of claims to achieve objectives in terms of commitment, management of excess costs, efficiency and customer service.
Contributes to the achievement of corporate and regional objectives by measuring team performance, ensuring quality of claims handling, level of compliance with standards, procedures and productivity.
Manage the activities of his/her team by organizing, planning and controlling the optimal use of human, financial and material resources according to the budget, while promoting teamwork and guiding their technical training.
Participate in the improvement of operational processes.
Make decisions for his/her team regarding the processing of claims and the payment of indemnities in accordance with company standards.
Promote the brand image and business principles to partners.
Requirements
University degree or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role
Working towards or completion of CIP designation is an asset
At least 3 years experience in claims handling
Excellent computer skills and knowledge
Strong sense of personal responsibility
