Point of contact and advisor for management and customers regarding the Warehouse Management System (WMS), supporting projects and new requirements
Independently manage tenders and implement new WMS projects from planning through evaluation
Analyze existing processes, define functional and technical requirements, and continuously develop the warehouse management system
Plan, steer, and control WMS projects with regard to time, resources, and target achievement
Coordinate interfaces between logistics and software partners and ensure a smooth flow of information
Conduct data analyses to identify optimization potential and develop innovative solutions to improve efficiency and quality

Solid (2+ years) professional experience as an IT project manager / team member in WMS—ideally within logistics service providers
A completed vocational qualification, e.g. freight forwarding and logistics services clerk, or a similar qualification is an advantage
Knowledge of logistics and an understanding of the interaction between operational processes—especially logistics and warehouse processes—and their system support
Sufficient experience in the analysis, optimization, and implementation of warehouse management systems
Experience with databases and SQL queries is desirable
Experience with the LFS V8 Warehouse Management System from Ehrhardt+Partner is an advantage
Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, initiative, and team spirit
