Helping migrate a self-managed Kubernetes cluster onto Amazon EKS, including persistent storage and stateful workloads.
Managing and improving AWS infrastructure maintained through Terraform.
Supporting the migration of self-hosted Kafka onto Amazon MSK with minimal disruption.
Maintaining platform stability, observability, and security throughout the migration process.
Working closely with a senior internal team, picking up ownership of active workstreams quickly.
Identifying risks early and maintaining clear documentation.

5+ years of hands-on Site Reliability, Platform Engineering, or DevOps experience
Strong hands-on experience with Amazon EKS
Strong AWS experience, with Terraform as a core infrastructure tool
Experience migrating legacy or self-managed infrastructure into cloud-native managed services
Solid Kafka knowledge, ideally including Amazon MSK migrations
Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking, persistent storage (EFS), scaling, and upgrades
Mature, low-ego, collaborative working style.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain trade-offs clearly
