Design and implementation of high-performance backend components within a microservice architecture
Development and optimization of distributed, highly available Java applications
Modeling and implementation of complex business processes with Camunda 7 and BPMN
Development and integration of REST and SOAP interfaces in a service-oriented architecture
Enhancement of existing software components and implementation of new functional requirements
Creation and execution of developer, integration, and component tests
Support in architecture, design, and technology decisions
Participation in build, deployment, and release processes in enterprise environments
Preparation of technical documentation and close collaboration with architects and development teams

Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, e.g., vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) with several years of professional experience
Several years of experience in developing Java enterprise applications with Java 17+, Spring and Spring Boot
Solid project experience in developing server-side applications based on Java SE or Java EE
Excellent knowledge in developing distributed and highly available software architectures
Experience with Camunda 7 and, ideally, BPMN modeling
Good knowledge of Hibernate/JPA, REST and SOAP web services
Experience with relational databases, ideally Oracle and/or PostgreSQL
Familiarity with modern build and CI/CD tools such as Gradle, Jenkins, and Git
Ideally experience with Kafka, microservices, and enterprise architectures
Structured, analytical and independent working style, with strong teamwork and communication skills
Very good German language skills, written and spoken
