Field Engineer

Role Overview

• Focus on resolving customer’s issues to their complete satisfaction
• Resolve problems both remotely and in the field to the customers delight
• Solve customer’s problems the first time
• Focus on break fix problems with the support of the COE team
• Deliver solutions to the customer and CSH on time and at the lowest cost possible
• Add knowledge articles to the Service knowledge management system
• Establish good communications and relationships with customers
• Present a professional image and promote customer confidence
• Contact customers, set up appointments, and communicate effectively during onsite visits
• Responsible for parts ordering and management
• Timely and effective repair of customer equipment
• Follow escalation processes and communicate to the appropriate level regarding problem equipment or customer satisfaction issues
• Ensure data integrity in call reporting, expense reporting and other administrative requirements
• Diagnose/repair equipment according to established processes, documents, service manuals, and software tools
• Perform equipment maintenance/installation according to specifications
• Perform systems verification in accordance with policies and procedures
• Train and provide simple repair information to customers for operating their system
• Attain system/customer knowledge to maximize system performance and customer satisfaction
• Responsible for assigned and backup accounts and for growing the service agreement business
• Able to work on standby and respond to call-outs after hours
• Some territories may require extended travel and overnight stay
• Continue to develop skills towards new technologies

Requirements

• Electronic or Mechatronics or Bionic or Biomedical Engineer
• English Language > 80%
• Minimum one year of experience (not indispensable)
• Living in CDMX, Título y Cédulas vigentes INDISPENSABLE
