About this role
Role Overview
- Provides support to one or more divisions to instill a safety sensitive culture.
- Ensures operations management conducts regularly scheduled safety meetings.
- Coordinates and participates in accident investigations and reporting.
- Administers and/or monitors drug testing policy compliance.
- Ensures division managers and supervisors are trained in safety regulations.
- Maintains accident registers, files, and certification records.
- Conducts site visits and inspections for safety compliance.
- Participates in the investigation of serious accidents and injuries.
Requirements
- Prior experience in an OSHA regulated environment.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety related position.
- Valid driver’s license.
