Preparation of detailed maintenance of traffic plans.
Prepares and checks design computations, design plans, and quantity estimates.
Use of computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
Coordination with regulatory agencies, utility companies and sub-consultants to obtain information, guidance, and requirements.
Coordinate the design of projects with a team of engineers and designers.
Project management experience and skills, including management of schedules and budgets, are a plus.
Attends onsite and offsite client meetings.
Adhere to company standards for quality assurance and quality control as defined in the quality manual.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Must possess 3 to 5 years of relevant transportation engineering work experience designing roadway projects, ideally for the Florida Department of Transportation
Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred)
Senior level EI’s ( ability to obtain within 12 months)
Proficient with Microstation Open Roads Designer
Strong oral communication and technical writing skills
