Role Overview
- Provide technical support and guidance on all matters related to safety
- Implement and manage existing safety programs to ensure compliance and foster a culture of safety
- Assist in the development and implementation of EH&S related plans, programs, policies, and procedures
- Conduct effective EH&S related training for employees, contractors, and visitors
- Conduct basic EH&S related audits, workplace inspections, job safety analysis, and maintain detailed recordkeeping
- Conduct accident investigations, manage worker’s compensation process, and return to work program
- Communicate EH&S related requirements and expectations to other departments and personnel
- Properly respond to day-to-day EH&S related issues in a timely manner
- Keep current on all applicable EH&S related rules and regulations
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and/or Safety
- Ability to complete OSHA 30 hour
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Occupational Health, Environmental Health and Safety, or related field
- Pre-employment screening may include drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMSCA Clearinghouse
