Provides leadership, administration, and oversight of the University's Building Automation System (BAS), HVAC control systems, and related building management technologies.
Supervises assigned skilled trades personnel and coordinates vendors and contractors.
Plans preventive and deferred maintenance programs.
Monitors building system performance and ensures compliance with codes and regulations.
Conducts facility assessments and prepares recommendations regarding system upgrades and improvements.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in building automation systems, HVAC controls, facilities maintenance, mechanical systems, or a closely related field.
Supervisory experience is preferred.
Experience administering commercial building automation systems and energy management systems is preferred.
An associate's or bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, HVAC Technology, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
Valid driver's license. Must maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with University requirements.
Building Automation System, HVAC, or related industry certifications are preferred.
